LIAM extends flood relief assistance to affected policyholders

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 13 —The Life Insurance Association of Malaysia’s (LIAM) member companies have collectively rolled out various initiatives to assist policyholders who were affected by the recent flood by granting additional timeline of a few months for premium payments and restructuring premium paying modes, from annual to monthly basis.

Insurance association in talks with BNM, denies ‘no change’ to premium hikes

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 — The Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) has denied that there will be no immediate changes to recent medical and health insurance and takaful premium rate adjustments of 40 to 70 per cent.
